Use Your Widget on Twitch

This article will explain the process of deploying your existing widget on Twitch as a Panel. Note that you must have an existing Widget in order to deploy it on Twitch. To learn how to create a widget visit our Creating a Widget Article. 

1. Install The ReadyUp Panel on Your Twitch Channel

1. Go to Twitch and log in with the Twitch account you would like to add the extension to. 
2. You can find the ReadyUp Extension by clicking this link. Alternatively, you can go to the Creator Dashboard > Extensions page and search for our extension by typing in "ReadyUp". 
3. Install the ReadyUp Extension by clicking the purple "Install" button. This can be found at any time on your Creator Dashboard > Extensions > My Extensions page.
   
   
4. A pop-up will appear asking you to configure the Widget. Press "Configure". 
   
   This button can be found at any time on the My Extensions tab.
   
5. After pressing "Configure" you will be presented with the below screen. It will ask you for a Title and the Widget ID.
   

2. Obtain Your Widget ID From ReadyUp

To get your Widget ID follow the steps below in a separate window or tab.

1. Log in to the ReadyUp Admin.
2. Select the Widgets option from the menu on the left side of the screen.
   
   
3. Select the Widget you want to deploy to Twitch from the list or search for it using the bar on the top right.
4. Click the Widget you want to deploy to Twitch and you will see a screen that looks like the one below.

6. Click the copy icon next to the Widget ID to copy your id to your clipboard.
   

3. Return To Twitch and Configure the Panel

1. Paste the Widget ID from Part 2 of this process into the Widget ID bar.
2. The title is optional. If left blank only the list of events will be displayed, if provided it will float at the top of the widget as shown below:
   
3. Press "Save" and you will see a green box in the bottom right notifying you that you have successfully saved your widget. If you receive an error be sure to confirm that your Widget ID is correct.
4. Once your widget is configured, navigate to your extensions and click "Activate" on the ReadyUp Widget.                                                             
5. Select which below-stream panel you'd like the Widget to reside in and you will see a confirmation from Twitch. 
   
6. Navigate back to the About section on your channel to confirm the Widget was deployed successfully. 
   

You now have a ReadyUp Widget on your Twitch channel!
