In this article we will cover the basics of adding a new participant via the ReadyUp admin panel. These participants can be used in any event you or others create.
Step 1: Details
In this section you will setup the participant by adding general information about the team.
- Log in to the ReadyUp Admin.
- Select the Participants option from the menu on the left side of the screen
- Click the Create New Participant button in the top right corner of the screen.
- You should see a new screen that looks like the image below where you can input all the details on this participant.
The table below describes each data field on the page and gives examples of what type of information should be added.

| Add cover photo |
A header image or banner that represents the team. Official art is always best. Refer to this link for any questions regarding adding and editing images. |
The recommended dimensions are 16:9 with a resolution of at least 1920 x 1080 px. The important information should be in the middle third of the image. |
| Set logo |
The official team logo. Refer to this link for any questions regarding adding and editing images. |
The recommended dimensions are 1:1 with a resolution of at least 1080 x 1080 px. |
| Team Name | The name of this participant. Always use the full name. | Evil Geniuses |
| Tagline | A few words the team uses to encapsulate their brand. | Live Evil |
| Country | The country in which the team is based. | USA |
| Website | The Team's official website | http://www.evilgeniuses.gg/ |
| Description | Here is a place to put longer copy about the organization. This can be used similarly to an "About" page on an official website. |

Once you have filled out all the details click the orange "Create" button in the bottom right corner of your screen.
